Iberia, incorporated 1927, is the national Airline of Spain.
Iberia is the market leader on routes between Europe and Latin America ( 15 % Share )
The Headquarter is Madrid and main Hubs are Madrid and Barcelona. Iberia is part of the One World alliance, together with such big Carriers as British Airways, American Airlines, Qantas and Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong.
Iberia belongs to Iberia Group which also owns Iberia Regional operated by Air Nostrum.
Iberia owns a 20 % stake in spanish low-cost carrier Clickair, based in Barcelona. Interesting to see that Clickair and Vueling Airlines are being merged so finally Iberia has control of the Low Cost Market in Spain.
