Information about Andalucia

Andalucia is Spain's southernmost region, and so Andalucia is bordered by the country of Portugal to the west and the Spanish Regions Extremadura and Castilla-La Mancha to the north and Murcia to the east. There is also a small Border to Gibraltar as very small piece of Land in the South which belongs to Britain.
The Region of Andalucia offers great contrasts in landscape from the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada to the sunny mediterranean beaches of the Costa del Sol.

Andalucia is one of the most visited Spanish Regions and especially during the sunny summer months it welcomes millions of Visitors

Andalucia has some great cities like Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Jerez de la Frontera and Granada, it hosts some of the greatest Festivals as the holy Week in Seville, the Bull Ride in Pamplona.
Sherry comes from Andalucia and also some of the best Spanish Food has its home here.

Andalucia's eight provinces are Huelva, Cadiz, Seville and Malaga in the west, Cordoba and Jaen in the north and Granada and Almeria in the east.
Because of it´s 800 kilometres of coastline Andalucia is the Destination for Holidays but also for the History of Spain.
