Spain and U.S. sign a new Airport Security Agreement | 01.07.2009

with the new Agreement being in place since july, 1st U.S. border officials are allowed to check the passports of traveller going into the United States at Madrid Barajas Airport. At a further point this Agreement could be extended to other Airports in Spain that have flights to the U.S, as the spanish Interior Minister, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba said on a press conference with the U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Mrs. Janet Napolitano.
